Coaching Vacancies Available For
Applications are open for coaches in the following sports disciplines: Badminton, Hockey, Weight Lifting, Basketball, Swimming, Wrestling, Football, Karate, Cricket, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Carrom, Rugby, Chess, Tennis, Volleyball, and Baseball.
Eligibility Criteria & Remuneration
- Salary: Appointed coaches will be compensated at an hourly rate of Rs. 1,250/-.
- Educational Qualifications: Must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with six subjects, securing at least three Credit (C) passes, which must include Mathematics and the First Language (Sinhala or Tamil).
- Coaching Experience: A minimum of three (03) years of proven coaching experience in the respective sports discipline is mandatory.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must fall within the age bracket of 25 to 60 years.
How to Apply
- Separate Applications: If you are applying for multiple sports, you must submit a distinct application for each discipline.
- Envelope Formatting: Ensure the name of the post applied for is clearly marked on the top left-hand corner of the enclosing envelope.
- State Employees: Applicants currently working in Government Departments, Statutory Boards, or State Corporations must route their applications through their respective Heads of Institutions.
- Submission Details: Completed applications, along with certified copies of all relevant educational, coaching, and service certificates, should be sent via registered post to:
